St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Cork is an exciting festival across the city celebrating Irish culture.
There are many different events taking place over the weekend, such as the pop up market on Emmet Place where you can sample great street food and see beautifully made crafts, live traditional music all around the city, workshops and much more.
St Patricks Day Festival is a time to get the kids involved too with great things to do in such as, carnival of colour, music, pageantry and comic fun.
The highlight of the weekend will be the Cork St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday March 17th with up to 3,000 participants and 50,000 visitors expected. The parade is like parade you have never seen before, featuring various different works of art, a giant copper head shoe, a giant sunflower and lots more! The parade starts from South Mall passing Grand Parade & St. Patrick’s Street and finishes at Merchant’s Quay – all within a 5 minute walk of Clayton Hotel Cork City.
