What time can I check in?

Check In is available from 3pm.  We can indeed store luggage if you arrive earlier or you can avail of our gym / pool in Club Vitae.

What time must I check out?

Check out time is 12 noon.

Is there a gym?

We are delighted to announce that our gym is now open for hotel residents and members. We have taken important steps to ensure physical distancing and the health and safety of our guests while using our facilities.

Pre-booking of a time slot is required in order due to Covid-19 capacity limitations and contact tracing.  Guests currently have no access to our changing rooms and showers so we ask our guests to dry off in our dedicated dying stations on our pool deck and shower in your room.

Is there parking available at the hotel?

Parking is available at Lapps Quay Public Car Park located in the basement of Clayton Hotel Cork City.

Guests of the hotel can avail of a special rate of €12.00 per night which is valid from 3pm on the day of arrival to 12noon the following day.

This rate is valid for a one-car single entry and exit.

The ticket must be stamped at reception and is payable directly at car park pay stations. If you have any other questions about this contact us before your arrival.

Is there a pool?

Our 18-metre heated swimming pool and kids play pool are the ideal place to exercise or relax.

(Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are currently closed due to government guidelines related to Covid-19.)

Pre-booking of a time slot is required in order due to Covid-19 capacity limitations and contact tracing. Time slots are 45 minutes long and can be booked a maximum of 24 hours in advance. Guests currently have no access to our changing rooms and showers so we ask our guests to dry off in our dedicated dying stations on our pool deck and shower in your room.

Can I reserve breakfast / lunch / dinner prior to Check-In?

Are there family rooms available?

Yes, we have a number of options for families.  Our superior family rooms have a double bed and 2 single beds and some can accommodate an additional baby cot.

Alternatively, we have some superior double rooms with a double and single bed or our executive rooms have a king bed with a couch bed.

Please call 021-4224900 and our friendly reservations team would be happy to advise you which room type would best suit your family.

What time is breakfast served?

Monday – Friday                               6.30am – 10.00am

Can I check-in online?

Check-in online is simple; just follow the link you will receive on your check-in email from the hotel in advance of arrival. This email is sent to the email address provided at booking stage. If your email address was not provided at booking stage, check-in can be completed through our website.

How much is a taxi to / from the airport?

Approx. €18 to €28 depending on ,time of day, traffic, number of passengers & bags.

Can I claim back on the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme?

Yes, our hotel is registered for the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme. If you stay with us between 1st October 2020 and 30th April 2021 you can claim up to €125 under this scheme, please see revenue.ie for details.
